Job Purpose

This position provides expert consultation and specialised advice to clients on asset health, reliability, maintenance, failure management, and predictive strategy. Develops  reliability  processes, supports special related projects, supports product development and field testing, defines product requirements, analyses and clarifies client requests. Supports Business Development  initiatives, product deployment and mentors colleagues.

Travel Requirements

Up to 40%.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working with customers to observe and review the usage of asset health systems.
  • Applies “lean” and continuous improvement concepts to customer operations, assisted operations and advise on effective system usage, functionality, and operation.
  • Document and communicate findings/recommendations to the customer, internally and externally
  • Facilitate sustained improvement, based on findings/recommendations.
  • Ensure customer is obtaining value from the MineCare® product.
  • Identifying interface requirements with the Project Department
  • Assist with configuration of all facets of the product
  • Provides training services for new system deployments.
  • Assisting with acceptance testing for project signoff
  • Training to new Maintenance Engineers.
  • Conduct workshops with customers related to MineCare® deployments, including process mapping, trend, snapshot and failure frameworks configuration.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor of Mining or Mechanical Engineering or related trade certificates.
  • Experience related to the maintenance, planning and reliability engineering of mobile mining equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of related Modular products and mining operations.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
