Job Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor will manage a team of two full-time warehouse employees and two full-time customer service representatives, overseeing daily operations and performance. 

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inventory locations and the logistics of transporting parts both incoming and outgoing from Komatsu. 
  • Administer the inventory cycle count process, ensuring accuracy in counts and proper documentation and tracking of write-ons and write-offs. 
  • Generate and review weekly and monthly reports to measure warehouse performance, addressing any issues as they arise.
  • Monitor and maintain warehouse racking systems to ensure proper organization and storage of parts. 
  • Negotiate equipment rental needs with vendors and coordinate associated logistics. 
  • Create and approve requisitions for cost center expenditures while working closely with the planning group to coordinate deliveries and job-related requirements. 
  • Collaborate with all departments to resolve discrepancies in picking, receiving, and shipping parts.
  • Manage any parts that are non-conforming.
  • Manage freight claims with freight vendors, tracking status of claims.
  • Work directly with customers to get materials received and delivered in a timely manner using the most cost-effective procedures.
  • Maintain open orders report and communicate back orders to customers.
  • Work directly with CSR to ensure timeliness of parts quotes.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • SAP Experience is preferred but not required
  • High School or Equivalent
  • Warehousing experience 3-5 years
  • Ability to obtain Underground MSHA Certification
  • Percentage of Travel: 10%, Reasons for Travel: Customer site, training courses, regional offices
