Job Purpose
In this role you will receive materials from suppliers physically and within ERP system and performs incoming quality inspection of materials, including verification that parts received match drawings and purchase orders. Dispositions materials per requirements within the warehouse or for additional quality checks, and coordinates with the Manufacturing Engineers when there are discrepancies. Prepares required documentation and scans or files all paperwork per policies and procedures. Process daily sales orders pick lists and production orders meeting ship dates. Report any issues with sales orders or part shortages to Purchasing, Planner, and Sales Ops. Conduct inventory cycle counts maintaining inventory accuracy. For shipping, prepare documentation, maintain records, and coordinate logistics for shipments. Schedule both Domestic and International Freight Forwarder for pickup of orders.
Process Sales Orders deliveries meeting ship dates. Communicate with Company Sales Ops, Regional offices, and customers any issues on orders, shipment status, and freight forwarder contacts. Prepare boxes with appropriate labels for shipments as required. Verify Sales Orders deliveries with customer purchase orders for accuracy. Follow Export Compliance policy. Provide guidance and training to others in the warehouse team. Generate output documents required for all shipments. Provide shipment tracking information when requested. Verify deliveries materials and quantity picked by warehouse staff before processing.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Materials Management and Recieving
- Verify quantity and materials from supplier packing list to Modular purchase order
- Verify material to Modular engineering SCD document
- Inform purchasing on any issues with material for action within 1 day of receipt
- Conduct SAP goods receipt transaction
- Label all materials with SAP part number
- Stock placement in proper unrestricted bins assigned on racking or shelving units and restricted quality bin
- Follow all warehouse safety and forklift policies
- Carry out inventory cycle counts assigned by Warehouse Manager or Supervisor
- Maintain forklift inspection sheets daily and report to Warehouse Manager or Supervisor any issues with forklift operation safety requirements
- Work with other warehouse team ensuring forklift safety inspection is completed before start of each day
- Proactively identify any possible safety concerns in the warehouse and communicate them to the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
- Perform facilities maintenance when requested by Warehouse Manager or Supervisor
- Carry out other warehouse tasks when requested by Warehouse Manager or Supervisor
- Pick from bins assigned by SAP pick list
- Pick sales orders deliveries and Production orders as assigned by Warehouse Manager or Supervisor meeting ship dates
- Verify Customer purchase orders are attached to Sales order ticket before processing orders
- Pick materials using first in first out (FIFO) strategy
- Maintain License tool
- Support continuous improvement activities within the warehouse
- Consistently performs 5S activities and assists with audits of other areas
- Shipping Activities
- Verify all sales order deliveries per customer purchase order
- Verify all picked materials for all sales orders picked by warehouse staff for accuracy
- Communicate via email with regional offices and customers submitting shipping documents and wait for release of orders when required by regional office or customer.
- Follow export compliance policy
- Prepare all shipments for loading on trucks along with paperwork required
- Complete all SAP transactions, output documents and post goods issue according to Incoterms
- Communicate with Sales Ops with any issues with orders
- Contact Freight Forwarders when shipments are cleared for release and complete all documents required which includes export compliance documents.
- Follow all warehouse safety and forklift policies and be proactive about warehouse safety.

Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED (at least)
- 4-8 years of administrative/clerical experience in a warehouse
- Must be able to lift minimum 50 lbs
- 1+ years of experience with international shipping
