Job Purpose

Provide hardware system and deployment support including but not limited to, hardware quality control, RMA (Return Material Authorization process for regional offices), vendors nonconformance issues, warranty claims, continuous improvement, and product design and release support.

Develop and enforce processes and procedures in accordance to ISO 9001, that pertain to hardware system and deployment support for all regional offices, vendors, customers, and cross departmental teams
Travel Requirements
Ability to travel up to 25% both domestically and internationally
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Works closely with corporate and regional teams, including, but not limited to, global deployment, product innovation, sales, and operations to identify opportunities on improving customer value and/or supportability efficiency
- Identifies opportunities, develops tools to standardize and improve quality of deployments, RMA support, Engineering Change Management, and Hardware Quality Assurance
- Defines and enforces usage of quality management tools and methods (e.g. Root cause analysis, checklists, 5 whys, etc.)
- Defines and enforces processes improvements techniques (e.g. Six Sigma, PDCA)
- Defines, reviews, and creates system hardware configurations, installation instructions, process documentation as pertains to the immediate and cross functional departments
- Review, audit global installations, standards, and processes
- Implements and enforces ISO9001 processes and procedures within the department and across other organizational business units
- Conducts internal company and vendor audits, formulates corrective actions and or reports based on those visits.
- Defines, reviews, and creates technical documentation, including but not limited to, SharePoint, Zendesk support portal, troubleshooting articles, training material, lessons learned
- Effective and efficient use of business systems including but not limited to SharePoint, Zendesk support portal, Harvest, SAP (for MRP, RMA, Material Management, and ECM functions)
- Increase “Customer Value Department” team’s synergy, this includes cross-products and cross-department teams
- Meets our internal and external SLA performance criteria
Required Skills
- Bachelor degree, preferably Industrial, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering discipline
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in product manufacturing, quality control, or product design
- Knowledge of electrical components, complex electrical assemblies, electrical enclosures and metal work, and various communication protocols such as RS232, CAN, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet
- Familiar with Fabrication Methodologies, contract manufacturing, Design for Manufacturability/Assembly, ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Lead defect root-cause analysis efforts for AHS/Core Juhin Activities.
- Collect and input details about hardware system defects into defect tracking tool and track their resolution.
- Strong foundation on processes improvements tools and problem solving techniques (e.g. PDCA, DMAIC(Six Sigma), A3, 8DP/PSP, 5 whys, root cause analysis)
- Desire to learn new technologies and expand your areas of expertise
- Strong analytical skills and a resourceful thinker who is willing to challenge the status quo of the organization
- A practical knowledge of mining methods and key customer business improvement needs
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying Change Management methods
