Job Purpose

To implement, maintain and coordinate systems for the Sales Team and support the team in the meeting of their objectives and goals.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Each day will present you with new challenges and opportunities to test and grow your skills.  As a Customer Support Representative with Komatsu, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing Salesforce administration tasks, attaching and updating quotes, purchase orders, and emails, as well as monitoring leads and maintaining current contact information. 
  • Overseeing the purchase order process, tracking old orders, and creating, submitting, and monitoring quotes. 
  • SharePoint administration tasks, creating and updating Request for Quote tickets, and ensuring comprehensive document attachment. 
  • Managing financial systems by adding and verifying revenue, entering monthly aftermarket orders. 
  • Overseeing Fee for Service orders, checking for completion, and addressing Zendesk alerts, ensuring customer satisfaction and obtaining necessary approvals.
  • ARR Master Folders, involving calculations and data updates.
  • Various additional duties, including template creation, timely report generation, event planning assistance, support for the Sales Team, promotional items stock and uniform order management, process training, and collaboration with other business areas as 

Required Skills

  • Education bachelor’s degree or training in business administration.
  • Extensive clerical/administration experience in a sales support role.
  • Proficient in the use of SAP (sales or projects module), Salesforce, SharePoint, Zendesk and Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Exceptional customer service skills to build, develop and maintain relationships with our client groups.
  • Ability to interact and effectively communicate (verbal and written) with internal and external client groups.
  • Knowledge of mining operations preferred.

Desired Skills

  • Sales and Account Management, SPIN methodology to discern and address customer needs, maintaining existing accounts through strategic planning, and safeguarding and augmenting revenue. 
  • Account leadership, involving proactive problem anticipation and resolution through coordination with internal resources. Participation in ongoing invoicing and collection activities as necessary.
  • General Client Service, managing challenging client situations with prompt responses and a commitment to client needs. Soliciting client feedback to enhance service, responding to service requests, and consistently meeting commitments.
  • Decisiveness and judgment by making timely decisions, displaying sound judgment, and involving appropriate stakeholders in decision-making processes. 
  • A proactive approach and positive work attitude, a high level of motivation and initiative, and a commitment to ethical conduct and integrity. 
  • Flexibility and adaptability to remain effective under pressure, adapting to changes, and handling multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and a high level of professionalism round out the expectations for this multifaceted position.
