Position Summary:   This position oversees the daily and long-term operation of the regional sales office.  Responsible for supporting a safe and efficient operation by promoting a zero-harm culture in partnership with the Regional Sales Manager and ensuring compliance with all safety standards. Serves as regional liaison between customers, sales, and organization for accurate communication and positive customer relations. 

Predominant Tasks:

 

  1. Handle customer requests and complaints in an effective manner.
  1. Manage LCM Contracts, payers, and codes, finalize machine specs, coordinate active timelines for rebuilds, as well as the point of contact for our customers.
  1. Works closely with customers and sales engineers on longwall planning and forecasting. 
  1. Works closely with Global Master Scheduling Manager and AMNO Master Scheduler to ensure slots are reserved for customers from forecasting information received and communicate in a timely manner any changes to customer schedule with machines that are required earlier or moved out. Communicate back to customer and sales staff.
  1. Manage the Salesforce and SAP customer management information which includes but not limited to customer information, competitive information, equipment (Joy and competition), personnel, cases, tasksAlso includes submitting information to Credit Manager for new customer creation and significant customer master changes.
  1. Create opportunities and maintain database and QR for OE and AM opportunities and orders.
  1. Review and input all change orders.  Work with customer and sales for accuracy of the change order specifications and pricing.  Create and submit change orders to customers to ensure customer provides updated purchase orders.
  1. Prepare all SAP OE machine proposals and review for accuracy and consistency with regards to specifications and pricing.
  1. Prepare all AM rebuild machine proposals and review for accuracy and consistency with regards to specifications and pricing.  Submit Margin approval forms to designated management personnel based on margin thresholds.
  1. Create and maintain all OE and AM orders for the region which includes the accuracy and pricing so the orders can be invoiced, and the company can record the sale.
  1. Function as the point of contact for the CRISP Program, interfacing with customers, engineering, and sales/service personnel.  Maintain parts inventory, process paperwork and maintain record keeping. 
  1. Attend and participate in weekly Production Schedule Review Meeting.  Report to regional sales staff on changes in delivery, inspections dates and any items that need to be addressed.
  1. Manage the Open Cases in salesforce for expedient closing of cases.
  1. Participate in specific teams as requested regarding new processes such as Rebuild Order Process, implementation of Sales Force and QR. 
  1. Responsible for Salesforce training for sales and service personnel.
  1. Manage machine booking and report changes on movement to Master Scheduling and Commercial Accounting.  Participate and report out in Monthly Booking Meetings with Commercial Accounting.
  1. Works with customers, accounting and sales to process warranty claims in a timely and effective manner.  Completes SAP warranty task codes. 
  1. Manages the Parts Return Program, notifying customers of return allowances, assigning ARG and dispatching personnel to inspect parts prior to return.
  1. Maintain Regional Consignment Contracts and see that contracts are renewed or cancelled in timely manner.
  1. Interface with customers, Joy sales engineers, product services, engineering, service center personnel and accounting to determine specifications, pricing and changes to orders (both OE and AM machine rebuilds). 
  1. Coordinate special events and projects within region (meetings, annual and electrical re-training, etc.) and manage quarterly community outreach activities. 
  1. Responsible for coordination of all compliance reporting and recordkeeping for Regional Sales Department.  
  1. Act as the Designated Employer Representative (DER) for the WVOMHST Regional Drug and Alcohol Random Testing Program.
  1. Weekly reporting of Warranties, ARG’s, Billing block reports, Commissioning, Quality, Equipment listings.
  1. Provides MSHA Weekly and Quarterly Reports to Sr. Leadership
  1. Submits Regional Weekly Report to AMNO Sr. Leadership.
  1. Oversees all Regional Office Requirements (mail, ordering of supplies, parts book distribution)
  1. Manages and maintains Technical Services Support TSS Orders for region. Invoices orders in timely manner.
  1. Maintains Vacation Schedule for Region Sales / Service / CFS Group.
  1. Manages Sales Promotional Program for region.

Education and Experience Requirements

Physical Requirements

 

  • BS Business related college degree or 2-4 years Management/Project Management experience Required.
  • Must possess proficient written and verbal skills-Required
  • A knowledge of all mining systems Preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with pricing structures, preparing quotes, development and execution of contractual agreements. - Required.
  • Excellent people skills for both internal and external communications-Required.
  • Advanced computer systems skills in ERP systems, i.e. SAP, Micro-Soft Office, Salesforce or related programs, etc.- Required

Hiring Range 

At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $74,510.00 - 111,766.00. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
