Key Job Responsibilities
Engineering design, documentation, testing and support of field and manufacturing issues in hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components on large mobile mining equipment. Manage and oversee design for hydraulic and pneumatic systems for mining machinery equipment, selection of hydraulic and pneumatic components, including cylinders, valves and pumps. Technical interface with external hydraulic and pneumatic component suppliers and internal supply chain management function. Oversee and develop hydraulic and pneumatic systems and component tests and test procedures. Provide technical support to manufacturing and assembly and oversee failure analysis of hydraulic and pneumatic components. #LI-DNI
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and two years experience in designing and validating hydraulic systems for heavy machinery, creating hydraulic schematics, developing component selections and working with suppliers, developing and executing design validation for hydraulic systems and prototypes, troubleshooting, root cause analysis of malfunctions in manufacturing and in the field.

Travel: 15% international and domestic travel to company locations and customer mine site
Hiring Range
At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $NA. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
