Job Overview
As a Customer Fulfillment Specialist at Komatsu in Springville, you will play a critical role in maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring satisfaction through prompt and efficient service.
- Your responsibilities will include supporting both internal and external customers daily with parts pricing, availability, and order entry to facilitate smooth operations and customer engagement.

Key Job Responsibilities
As part of your role, you will engage in a variety of responsibilities on a daily, weekly, monthly, and occasional basis:
DAILY:
• Process customer sales orders, expediting and following up as needed.
• Provide accurate customer quotes, pricing, and lead times to facilitate decision-making.
• Maintain a safety-conscious mindset in all daily activities to promote a secure working environment.
• Act with a sense of urgency to address customer needs effectively.
• Track orders and shipments diligently to inform customers of their order status.
• Multi-task efficiently to manage various priorities and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Utilize excellent verbal and electronic communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Release and ship orders as necessary to meet customer expectations.
• Read and interpret parts manuals and technical drawings to assist in order accuracy.
WEEKLY:
• Process customer credits promptly as required.
• Unload and load freight trucks, inspecting freight for damage to maintain quality control.
• Operate manual power hoists, dollies, lifts, and forklifts safely and effectively.
• Open order reports and expedite where necessary to keep operations on track.
• Attend and participate in weekly department safety meetings to stay informed on best practices.
• Review and approve freight bills to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor inventory levels to establish appropriate minimum and maximum thresholds for efficient ordering.
MONTHLY:
• Analyze in transit stock location reports to optimize inventory management.
• Prepare transport order open reports to track status and performance.
• Participate in monthly safety meetings to reinforce workplace safety standards.
• Be available for after-hours on-call duties for the parts department when needed.
• Assist with purchasing functions to ensure effective stock replenishment.
OCCASIONAL:
• Conduct mine site visits for customer service and meetings to foster direct relationships.
• Fill in for the Buyer when necessary to maintain workflow continuity.
Qualifications/Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or fulfillment role, with a preference for experience in parts or logistical environments.
- The ability to read and interpret both hard copy and electronic parts manuals, including systems like Link One and VIP, to aid in efficient order processing.
- Proficient knowledge and usage of Microsoft Applications, enabling effective document creation and data management.
- Strong understanding of CDK and SAP systems, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in these software applications.
- An overall understanding of Material Management functions to navigate complex inventory and warehousing challenges successfully.
- Solid knowledge of inventory principles and effective inventory control methods.
- Familiarity with safety policies and expectations to maintain compliance and a safe working environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of shovel operations and functions to support product knowledge.
- Strong working knowledge of company processes and procedures to execute responsibilities effectively.
- A knack for identifying and engaging the right contacts within the organization to accomplish tasks and enhance collaboration.

Hiring Range
