Job Overview
This role centers on managing the equipment yard in Sparks, NV, where you will handle inbound and outbound machinery paperwork while loading and unloading equipment. Additionally, you will prepare machines for delivery and perform efficient, high-quality repairs on both machinery and individual components.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Complete initial check-in: record hours, fuel, manuals, pictures, and obvious damage.
- Report check-in details to the Rental Coordinator.
- Park equipment in designated areas.
- Verify serial numbers against shippers, document with photos, and follow special instructions.
- Assist with loading and outbound shipments.
- Keep the yard orderly, manage machine statuses, and run periodic maintenance exercises.
- Conduct consignment inspections and assist with physical inventory audits.
- Stage and position machinery for the Service department as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work under pressure, deadlines, etc.
- Ability to operate wide range of equipment
- Able to work overtime on a regular basis
- Able to work with minimal supervision, set priorities
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Basic technical aptitude
- Able to climb on/off equipment and walk all day

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and able to obtain and maintain the required forklift training and certification.

Must be able to safely operate a forklift and maintain forklift certification/training as required by company policy and applicable regulations.
Hiring Range
At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $27.48 - $37.18. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
