Job Overview
.
The Crushing and Screening Product Specialist will provide technical product expertise for our Finlay and EvoQuip equipment lines. Partnering with the Territory Sales Managers and Product Support Sales Representatives, the Product Specialist will assist in building long-term relationships within each of their assigned regions to maximize company profitability and market share.
Responsibilities
- Increase market share and profitability for products in the region.
- Develop relationships and network with industry peers.
- Stay up-to-date on competitive activity and products.
- Be a solutions provider and a wealth of expertise for customers.
- Identify opportunities by evaluating customer needs.
- Assist sales force with product demos and presentations.
- Perform onsite startup and training on new machines.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Communicate with regional GMs, sales managers, and product support reps.
- Be a primary channel of communication with manufacturing partners.
- Identify parts and service opportunities and report to appropriate parties.
- Provide training on product developments.
- Assist customers with parts, service, and repairs.
- Follow safety rules and procedures.
- Proactively seek training and development opportunities.
- Participate in company communication efforts.
- Maintain positive working relationships.
- Travel 50% of the time.
Qualifications
- Prior crushing and screening industry experience required for consideration
- Must be able to work independently
- Possess basic mechanical skills for setups and minor repairs Prior sales experience and/or training
- Good understanding of local market conditions
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent computer skills
