Apprenticeship Opportunity – Machinist Program

We are seeking a motivated and committed individual who is eager to join our four-year Machinist Apprenticeship Program starting in August 2025. This is a unique opportunity to build a rewarding career in advanced manufacturing while gaining hands-on experience and formal education

The selected candidate will:

  • Work full-time at our Solon facility, contributing to the production of high-quality gears for our valued customers.
  • Attend related instruction courses at Tri-C (Cuyahoga Community College) as part of the apprenticeship curriculum.

Your commitment to this program will require diligence and a strong work ethic. Successful completion of all required on-the-job training hours paired with classroom instruction will lead to achieving Class A Utility Machinist status and submission to the state in order to obtain your Journeyman card.

Apprentice Hourly Rate starting at - $20.47

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the start of the apprenticeship.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory.
  • A demonstrated commitment to full-time employment and a strong attendance record in all related instruction courses are essential for success.
  • Previous exposure to a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred but not required.
  • Basic math skills are essential for the successful completion of machining tasks and activities.
  • Attention to detail is crucial, with the ability to identify and rectify discrepancies effectively.
  • Safety is paramount; you must prioritize safety in all aspects of work and adhere to established safety protocols.
