Job Overview
We are looking for a Warranty Administrator in Reno at our Komatsu dealer!
In this role you'll process claims for reimbursement of expenses incurred after performing qualified warranty repairs and factory campaigns on heavy equipment. You'll also maintain complete and accurate records on claim history and accounting activities.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Open and close warranty work orders. Compile documentation and create explanation of claim and submit for processing.
- Review claim tracking system and keep record of outstanding and paid claims. Process credit memos and reconcile claims to the general ledger 10
- Track factory campaigns and 90 day revisits.
- Assist managers and staff as requested to assure effective and efficient operations of region
Qualifications/Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Associate Degree or 5+ years experience
- Familiarity with construction and mining equipment
- Language Skills:
- Ability to read and comprehend and write instructions, correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situation to customers, clients and other employees
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to compute and calculate basic math including percentages and ratios
- Computer Skills: Knowledge of database software, Internet software, manufacturing software and order processing systems
- Analytical Skills: Uses intuition and experience to complement data
- Problem Solving Skills: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
- Customer Service Skills: Responds promptly to customer needs with strong communication skills
- Teamwork Skills: Balances team and individual responsibilities
