Job Overview

Provides equipment and/or parts transport service, loads/unloads and operates equipment as required to ensure prompt, courteous, safe delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Job Responsibilities

Loads, delivers and unloads equipment and parts as required. Primary responsibility for regional deliveries. Performs transport services in a timely, safe and courteous manner.
Maintain a current operating knowledge of equipment represented by the company
Meets DOT regulations, safety standards and certifications needed to operate company vehicles.
Operate vehicles/equipment safely including daily inspections and accurate logs and general maintenance and cleanliness of assigned vehicle.
Completes paperwork and records promptly, accurately and legibly
Has current knowledge of required permits, CDL and DOT regulations, load securing procedures, acts as resource for other local drivers.
Projects a positive company image by interacting with fellow employees, customers and management in a cooperative, supportive and professional manner. Complies with company policies and dress code.
Other tasks as assigned to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient branch operations

Qualifications/Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Class A CDL, with clean driving record required.
DOT Medical Card required.
Minimum 2 years of Heavy Equipment Transport and or Flat Bed experience required.
Winter driving experience required.
Experience installing chains during hazardous weather required.
