Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Transport Driver to join our team in Salt Lake City. This is a role responsible for both hot shot delivery of parts and attachments, as well as transporting heavy equipment to customers using heavy haul trucks.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate commercial vehicles, including hot shot rigs (up to 44,000 lbs GVW), step deck trailers (up to 80,000 lbs GVW), and heavy haul trucks (up to 162,000 lbs GVW).
- Perform thorough daily pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and regulatory compliance.
- Safely load, secure, and unload freight, parts, attachments, and heavy equipment.
- Obtain required transport permits and maintain compliance using an Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
- Daily operation of forklifts and other equipment to assist with loading and shop operations.
Qualifications/Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant driving/transport experience.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Proven ability to perform thorough pre-trip inspections and properly manage an ELD.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to lift up to 80 lbs and successfully pass a company physical and MVR check.
