Job Overview

We currently have a permanent position available in our Motor Testing services team for an experienced  Electrician, preferably HV, based in Rutherford, NSW.  The primary responsibilities for this role will be testing the condition of HV and LV electric motors and generators using specialised motor testing equipment and applying additional condition monitoring techniques/processes to provide a market-leading service. 

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Testing High Voltage and Low Voltage electric motors and generators at customer sites and within rebuild facilities.
  • Creation and delivery of value-adding test reports.
  • Preparation of schedules for motor testing activities.
  • Completion of documentation, including SWP (Safe Work Procedures) as required .
  • Ability to work under limited supervision.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Flexibility to regularly travel to regional sites within Australia as required

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Electrical trade qualifications, preferably HV
  • HV Permit Receivers certificate would be considered an advantage.
  • Experience with MS office applications.
  • Previous experience with condition monitoring techniques would be considered an advantage
  • Previous experience with PdMA, DLA and Partial discharge test equipment would be considered an advantage.
