The role:

 

Reporting to the Leading Hand, and working in a small team, you’ll be operating a range of machines and undertaking mechanical fitting tasks in the repair and overhaul of Komatsu and Joy Mining hydraulic equipment.   

 

Based in the cylinder overhaul shop, daily tasks include stripping and inspecting cylinders, producing customer reports then assembling and testing.

 

To do so, you’ll need to be able to read and interpret engineering drawings & hydraulic schematics and have basic computer skills.   

 

You’ll be joining a highly talented team of mechanical fitters that pride themselves on their work ethic and quality outputs.

Quals & experience required:

 

  • Relevant mechanical trade qualification. 

  • Experience in cylinder overhauls.

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings & hydraulic schematics.

  • Basic computer skills with Word and excel – compiling reports.

  • Dogging tickets is desirable.

  • Valve overhaul experience is desirable.
