Komatsu is looking for a highly organised, professional and proactive Commercial Contracts Administrator to join our Commercial Team in Rutherford.

Reporting to the Commercial Contracts Manager, and working supporting our Contract Specialists, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the business through the seamless management of commercial transactions, ensuring each agreement is handled with the utmost care and the highest attention to detail.

 

Your contribution will help drive the success of major projects and foster strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key role functions.

 

  • Coordinate and support the preparation of tender submissions, quotations, letters of offer, and budget quotes
  • Manage contract administration processes, including executed agreements, OE and overhaul Purchase Order acknowledgements, and contractual security documentation
  • Register and maintain PPSA security interests in line with contractual requirements
  • Maintain commercial reporting systems, including WIP reports, and contract registers
  • Provide timely administrative and contract management support to the Commercial Team and wider business
  • Ensure compliance with Komatsu’s policies, HSE requirements, and ethical standards in all commercial documentation and communication
  • Perform general office administration, reporting, and audit support as required

 

What you bring.

 

  • The highest level of work ethic - reliable, self-motivated, and consistently committed to excellence, even under pressure
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial administration or legal support, ideally within the mining, manufacturing, or construction sectors
  • Strong understanding of tender coordination, contractual compliance, and commercial operations
  • Demonstrated experience preparing and reviewing large, detailed contract documents
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce polished, highly professional documentation
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise across all levels of the organisation
  • Analytical, logical thinker with a strong sense of accountability and commitment to customer service
