Are you a driven finance professional with leadership capability and a passion for process improvement? 

 

At Komatsu, we’re offering an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader – Corporate Services to step into a key leadership role supporting our Finance & Commercial team. 

 

This is a 7-month fixed-term contract based in our Rutherford (Hunter Valley) office, where you’ll lead critical corporate services operations and make a tangible impact from day one.  

 

Key responsibilities.

 

  • Lead and coordinate end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, approvals, and payments. 
  • Oversee Concur expense management, ensuring policy compliance, process efficiency, and effective user support. 
  • Manage bank disbursements and approve non-payroll payment transactions in accordance with company policies and controls. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve invoice, payment, and supplier-related issues. 
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Accounts Payable, vendor management, and employee expense processes. 
  • Prepare and deliver reporting on outstanding invoices, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial transactions to support business decision-making. 
  • Support internal and external audits, compliance requirements, and statutory payment-time reporting obligations 

 

About you.

 

You’re an organised and proactive leader who thrives in a busy, high-volume environment and brings: 


Experience & capability:

  • Experience leading finance/AP teams in high-volume environments 
  • Strong background in Accounts Payable, expense management or corporate services 
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines 

 

Technical skills:

  • SAP experience preferred, with exposure to Concur or similar systems 
  • Strong reconciliation, reporting, and financial controls knowledge 

 

Ideal for someone who can:

  • Navigate complexity, lead with impact, and build strong cross-functional relationships 
  • Drive efficiency and continuous improvement in core financial processes
