Job Overview
To affect the movement of material through the warehouse beginning with the receipt of material from vendors to the shipping of material to distributors as directed on their purchase orders.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Unload partial and complete trailer loads of material from vendor and plants.
- Process receipt of this material verifying part number, quantity and quality.
- Contact supervisor when material is not correct.
- Remove material that has been process from receiving floor and place in appropriate warehouse location while providing required documentation of such transactions to insure accuracy and compliance to company policy.
- Pick, pack and ship material from warehouse locations as directed by purchase orders from distributors worldwide verifying accuracy and in compliance to instructions on order.
- Keep work area clean and safe in accordance with company policies and government regulations.
- Regular attendance required.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Accuracy and quantity of line items putaway.
- Accuracy and quantity of line items picked, packed and shipped.
- Adherence to company policies and follow safety rules.
- Meet warehouse productivity and quality levels.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- High school diploma or equivalent, on the job training provided. Prior warehouse experience a plus. Forklift certification a plus.
- General math and reading skills plus the ability to pay attention to detail. Training is required on various material handling equipment used in the facility. (i.e. lift truck, stock chaser, bander, radio frequency devices and various hand tools.)
- Regular attendance.
- Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations within the facility and the ability to stand, walk stoop, kneel, crouch and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weight items of 20-30 pounds. Infrequently handle medium to heavy weight items of 35-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application information. The associate frequently is required to reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
- Limited phone contact is required with inhouse customer service and supply. Contact by phone may also be required with distributors and vendors as assigned by supervisor.

Hiring Range
At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $NA. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
