Job Overview

Timely completion of projects allows more products to be released and builds portfolios of products to sell.

Support execution of customer events.

Support building of Komatsu product portfolio within the GHG Alliance Program.

Deliver actionable insights from a project level that the organizational stakeholders need to know.

Promote teamwork and communication within the project tteams to build a common understanding of requirements and expectations.

Develop Project Plans/Schedule for projects based on program needs and resources.

Drive adherence and improvements to the Product Management Process within the GHG Alliance.

Manage execution and adherence to project schedules per the needs of GHG Alliance members.

Milestone reviews and keep management and stakeholders informed of progress and issues on projects.

Give guidance and promote commonality amongst multiple projects and groups.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Follow the GHG Alliance program structure / processes to meet program deliverables.
  • Ensure all GHG Alliance workstream functional groups work together and know the priority and timeline.
  • Track, manage, follow through on action items via internal and external requests.
  • Manage and update customer project tracking dashboards.
  • Support product management in building distributor relationships.
  • Report and escalate program risks to management as needed.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Support program growth with incorporation other product lines.
  • Project updates and milestone reviews to management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct project team meetings.
  • Track critical success factors for project (ie: functional requirements)

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or relevant experience - manufacturing or engineering related field.
  • 3 - 5 years project management experience required.
  • PMP Certification preferred.
  • Advanced time management and analytical skills.
  • Excellent writte and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to comprehend technical documents.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to remain calm in situations involving stress, deadlines, or upset employees or third parties.
  • Ability to establish and manage priorities of yourself and subordinates if applicable.
  • Ability to focus and meet deadlines on a timely basis.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with managers, peers, and subordinates.
  • Ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks.
  • Ability to undertand how your emotions and communications are perceived by others in including managers, peers, and subordinates and modify as needed to be an effective team member.
  • Ability to motivate your peers and subordinates to achieve targeted performance metrics.

Hiring Range 

At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $105,600 - 132,000. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
