NOTICE TO ALL BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEES

PAINTER ‑‑ Will do all types of production spray painting including stencil and decal work.  Will also, using steam and hot water or any other approved technique, wash parts and equipment.  Will do cosmetic body panel repair as required.  Cleans and prepares surfaces to be painted.  Does all kinds of maintenance painting with brush, spray or roller.  Refinishes walls, floors and ceilings as directed.  

Will clean paint facilities.  Will work from appropriate paperwork and is responsible for quality of own work.  Will train other operators as directed.  May use information systems as necessary to perform job duties.

Minimum Qualifications--two to three years experience as a painter.  Demonstrated expertise in prime enamel painting.  Airless, air assisted and quart gun expertise is required.  Blueprint reading skills are necessary.  Experience in the use and operation of hand jacks and steam-cleaning equipment is required.  Detailing/decal experience is desired.

Hiring Range 

At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $32.89.
