Job Overview
Komatsu’s Internship Program provides students the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in a highly structured learning environment. This 12-week program offers interns training, mentorship, and exposure to multiple areas within Aftermarket Sales and Marketing, supporting initiatives that drive customer engagement and business growth.
Key Job Responsibilities
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to shadow and collaborate with experienced sales and marketing professionals on real projects, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a global organization.
The Aftermarket Sales & Marketing Intern will work on projects such as:
• Assisting with development and execution of marketing campaigns for aftermarket parts and services.
• Supporting sales initiatives through data analysis, pricing reviews, and promotional planning.
• Creating and updating marketing materials, presentations, and digital content for customer outreach.
• Analyzing customer purchasing trends and market data to identify growth opportunities.
• Helping design dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI) to track campaign performance and customer engagement metrics.
Qualifications/Requirements
- • Education: Actively enrolled in a Business, Marketing, or Finance program at a 4-year accredited college/university (Junior/Senior standing).
• Application of Knowledge: Ability to apply academic concepts to real-world business challenges.
• Experience: Prior involvement in work-study programs, leadership roles, team projects, clubs, or professional organizations preferred.
• Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to multi-task, manage deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic business environment. Strong motivation to contribute and deliver results.
• PC Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel with Pivot Tables), Power BI, and other analysis tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Travel: Some travel may be required.
Additional Information
Hiring Range
At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $18 - $22 per hour. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
