Job Overview
Lead complex rebuild projects from pre-contract through to delivery, partnering with customers and internal teams to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes for Komatsu’s underground mining equipment.
The opportunity
As the Rebuilds Project Manager, you will manage projects from pre-contract through to execution and final delivery, ensuring customer requirements, safety standards, quality expectations and commercial commitments are met. You will coordinate activity across operations, engineering, supply chain, production, sales and customer stakeholders to keep projects on track and clearly communicated.
This role will see you planning and monitoring project scope, timelines, cost, risk, resource requirements and delivery milestones across rebuilds, repairs and selected original equipment projects. You will play a key role in supporting operational excellence, identifying improvement opportunities, resolving issues early and ensuring Komatsu continues to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions for our customers.

About you
You are a proactive and commercially minded Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment. You bring strong stakeholder management skills, a practical understanding of manufacturing, repairs or heavy equipment rebuilds, and the confidence to coordinate multiple priorities across customers, suppliers and internal teams and sites.
You will be comfortable working across planning, risk, quality, safety and delivery requirements, with a strong focus on building trusted relationships and driving outcomes. Experience in mining, heavy industry, manufacturing, maintenance, rebuilds or complex technical project delivery will be highly regarded.
Qualifications/Requirements.
- Significant experience in delivering projects, ideally within a manufacturing environment, and supported by project management training or certification.
- Experience managing multiple customer and stakeholder priorities to deliver outcomes.
- Machine design, fabrication, welding, hydraulic, electrical and automation knowledge required.
- Proficient use of the MS Office suit, including Project, and ERP such as SAP
- Familiarity with original equipment manufacturing and/or major equipment repair and /or maintenance experience highly desirable
- Mining and/or heavy industry experience, with underground mine experience desirable.
- Joy products and/or mining equipment knowledge beneficial.
