Komatsu is looking for a skilled Operator of Joy Global underground mining machinery to join our team as an Operator Trainer and Assessor at either Parkhurst (QLD) or Rutherford (NSW).

 

Your objective will be to ensure that our customer’s operators are fully equipped with the knowledge and skills required to operate our advanced underground equipment safely and efficiently.

The Role

 

As an Operator Trainer and Assessor, you will be responsible for designing training programs and assessments that align with industry standards and our customer’s objectivesYou will make a significant impact by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence among operators

 

You’ll know our gear inside out, and work with customers to create assessments according to their training needs. You’ll create engaging content and be a captivating presenter delivering courses that get results

 

This position covers our customers on the East Coast. Although we try to limit time away from home, this position can see you travelling away for up to 1-2 weeks at a time. In return, we offer genuine, generous flexibility

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

 

  • Certificate IV Underground Coal Operations (required)
  • Safe, confident and effective operation of Joy Global machinery (required)
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
  • Experience as a trainer and assessor in an underground mining environment (desirable)
