Job Overview
We're looking for a detail-oriented, data-driven Logistics Analyst to join our team and play a key role in optimizing global freight operations, analyzing logistics performance, and driving cost savings and service improvements. This is a hybrid position.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze logistics data to support cost-reduction and service-improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate carrier and freight forwarder performance through scorecards and KPIs.
- Conduct research and provide recommendations on optimizing domestic and international logistics networks.
- Liaise with internal teams, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to support inventory flow, claims, compliance, and risk management.
- Lead or support substantial logistics projects from concept through implementation using detailed cost-benefit analysis.
- Support global logistics strategy with routine analytics and new technology applications.
- Drive continuous improvement through performance tracking, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and vendor optimization.
- Collaborate across functions such as Procurement, Sales, Legal, Finance, and IT to identify and implement logistics solutions.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred.
- 1–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or distribution, ideally in a global or multinational environment.
- Demonstrated success leading or contributing to substantial logistics projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communicator with proven ability to influence across levels and departments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with Visio and Project a plus.
Preferred Experience:
- International logistics or freight forwarding exposure.
- Experience working with or for large, multinational companies.
- Familiarity with 3PL/4PL operations, claims management, and distribution center environments.
