Job Overview
The purpose of this position is to paint parts; frames, counterweights, rims, etc. to Komatsu specifications
Key Job Responsibilities
- Paints all surfaces of hydraulic excavators, wheel loaders, backhoes, or any other manufactured products.
- Cleans, masks, mixes paint, sprays and decals equipment or manufactured products according specifications.
- Operates man lifts and overhead cranes safely in order to accomplish painting objectives.
- Inspects paint work and related work of others and reports any defects or discrepancies to supervision immediately.
- Works as a team member and co-operates with co-workers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in spray paint booth environment required.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Must be able to use a variety of hand tools, power tools etc.
- Must comply with all environmental, quality and safety rules, practices and standards.
- Some standing, kneeling, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing and lifting required.
- Associate may be required to work overtime as required to meet schedule.
