Job Overview

 

  • Invoice and review costs for all small components, hydraulics, and motors.  Resolve any problems that may arise.

 

  • Review and reconcile the TECO unbilled report, over 90 Day Order Reporting, and Invoice at Disassembly reports.

 

  • Track, manage and review costs for service orders.  Drive closure of jobs with Service Manager and invoice relevant jobs according to customer purchase order and appropriate revenue recognition standards

 

  • Compile and populate the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and current estimates.  Details include, P&L, Balance Sheet, OE, Parts, Components, Rebuilds, and Other Service Bookings as well as associated sales detail, headcount, and hours.  Assist Regional Controller in completing analysis which will include but not limited to future customer production, commodity pricing, fleet installed base, competition, and bridges.

 

  • Responsible for compiling the regional financial reporting process.  Financial reporting will largely be both weekly for current estimates and monthly for period end close.  Items include: monthly performance report outs vs forecasts and prior year (P&L, Balance Sheet, Bookings/Backlog, Period Costs, Black Book, etc.).   Review results with Regional Controller and Regional Manager. 

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Monthly Financial Performance Review, business unit sales versus plan, service P&L analysis, capacity cost tracking and review

 

  • Drive process documentation and improvements for both financial accounting and service-related processes. 

 

  • Monitor WIP inventory by reviewing open orders and working with supply chain and production regarding the timing and closure.

 

  • Participate and lead meetings to be actively involved with issues related to sales and production in the region.  Review cost center data trends and comparisons to budget and communicate issues to local management teams.

 

  • Utilize Sales Force and other databases to analyze and predict potential opportunities and tie that analysis into the Regional financial forecasts.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required.  MBA and Accounting Certification a plus (CPA/CMA)
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in a financial or accounting function is required.

  • Self-starter: action oriented / “can-do” attitude
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong Excel, Word & PowerPoint required.  PowerBI is preferred, not required.
  • SAP and Business Warehouse experience is a plus.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or service organization.
  • Minimum Travel Requirement – 25%
