Job Overview

We currently have a vacant position at our Moss Vale/Minto/Wacol facility for a Senior Material Analyst. This position will report directly to the Inventory and Systems Controls Manager and will be responsible to support the Australian business engineering change management and material governance.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Engineering Change Mgmt (ECM) Gatekeeper responsibilities include reviewing, coaching, questioning, and evaluating Engineering Changes done via ECM’s to assure an outcome compatible with business objectives
  • Monitor turn around times of ECM activities through the business, ensuring priorities are managed in alignment with business needs.
  • Review and delegate assessment of planning parameters and changes required for materials impacted by ECMs
  • SAP and Material Master Governance Owner – ensuring accuracy in material management
  • Strategic and tactical evaluation of Engineering changes impacting inventory in consultation with changes being done by engineering.
  • Drive decisions via planning team for most effective sourcing method of materials to ensure continuous and consistent supply to meet customer needs (manufacture vs buy)
  • Drive completion of key tasks to price materials via procurement and finance. Ensuring key turnaround times are met and pricing models are aligned to product.
  • This position maintains and audits material master settings in accordance with the inventory management policy to support the business and Supply Chain inventory goals


  • Degree; Supply Chain/ Engineering / Business
  • 10+ years’ experience in engineering, finance, supply chain or business analyst roles.
  • 10 years' experience on Soft Rock Mining equipment a preference
  • Extensive SAP understanding in the Materials Management and Purchasing functions.
  • Demonstrated financial and business acumen
  • Understanding Manufacturing processes preferred
  • Understanding of Inventory management preferred
  • Detail oriented, creative with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in fast paced, demanding environment
  • Self-starter, taking initiative and being committed to results, the team, partners and stakeholders
