Job Overview

Komatsu’s two-year Graduate program will see you complete on the job training through a range of learning assignments relevant to your chosen field of study. We currently have Graduate opportunity available in Control & Automation within our Underground Mining Equipment business. This role will provide Electrical/C&A engineering support work for continuous mining development products.

Key Job Responsibilities

Software and hardware system testing
Software proposal/specification writing
Control & automation incident investigation
System Integration and Communications design
Field trial design
Review and approve technical publications
Visit mine sites as required
Regional support for global engineering teams
Support to sales for system upgrades, contract and specification reviews.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor of Electrical or Electronic Engineering Degree or equivalent relevant discipline
A strong interest in control systems and communications, desired.
Closed-loop control systems and control system theory (classical and modern), desired.
A knowledge of mining equipment solutions and the industry is desired.
Participation in effective Change Management implementation, desired.
Experience in cross-functional team assignment(s), desired.
