Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Shop/Field Service Technician to join our maintenance team. This role is designed for a technical expert who thrives on variety and is ready to tackle complex repairs on heavy machinery, specifically within the mining and construction sectors. As a critical link in our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that high-value assets—such as shovels, drills, and loaders—are maintained to rigorous OEM specifications.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Knowledge with troubleshooting skills in hydraulics, low voltage (12/24 volt) electrical and mechanical components.
  • Ability to interpret and understand complicated drawings, specifications, charts and tables and handbook formulas.
  • Ability to use all varieties of precision measuring instruments. 
  • Equivalent to complete accredited apprenticeship in a recognized trade, craft or occupation; or equivalent to a 1-year technical college education, is a plus.
  • Over 3 years in similar job experience.
  • Flexible Work Schedule

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in the maintenance of mining equipment, ie shovels, drills, loaders would be a plus
  • Tier 4 engine emissions training
  • Print understanding so all repairs are completed to OEM specification
  • Willing to travel 100% to meet business requirements.
  • Live in the Valley area
  • Clean driving record
