Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Technical SAP Business Analyst – MM / Ariba to join our global SAP team in Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL (near O'Hare). We offer a hybrid work schedule (minimum 2+ days per week working in our Chicago or Milwaukee office for collaboration, team meetings, working sessions, etc. and up to 3 days per work can be telecommuting from your home office). In this role you will be responsible for the design, implementation and improvement of the SAP system related to MM and Ariba.

Key Job Responsibilities

Participate in projects to enhance Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration, Ariba Procure to Pay and Spend Analysis and provide support to business for future rollouts to new suppliers and new regions
Monitor integration points between SAP ERP and Ariba, troubleshoot and support integration errors and work with internal IT to resolve issues
Analysis of global business processes and procedures
Collecting business requirements and translating into functional specifications
SAP MM and Ariba configuration, testing of processes and troubleshooting of software or business problems
Participating in and supporting MM in SAP and Ariba project rollouts and enhancements
Working flexible hours in order to provide global support and to meet deadlines for projects where there are team members from various time zones
Responsibility for the Administrator role for Komatsu Ariba account, to include entering service requests to SAP Ariba for change or support requests, some configuration of the rules workbook and user role assignment. This will involve coordinating these activities with multiple Komatsu entities and understanding the impact of changes to various Ariba applications.
Review Ariba releases of new functionality and analyze the applicability to Komatsu business processes, and work with business users to apply or utilize the new functionality.
Analyze as is business processes, document to be business processes and complete Business Process Procedure documents as part of the blueprint process
Write and execute unit and integration test scripts as well as perform regression testing for any enhancements affecting global objects
Create training material related to purchasing business process and provide training as part of a deployment project
Write a functional specification document to provide to a developer for changes to SAP
Complete configuration in SAP and Ariba, test new configuration
Perform research online as needed to provide solutions to functional and technical issues in SAP and Ariba
Complete analysis of functionality available to meet business requirements or to propose process improvements
Communicate with peers on cross functional activities related to project rollouts and enhancements
Perform data mapping exercise and execute data migration programs
Work with external consultants to be sure we follow current business processes and to make sure there is documentation of work done by the consultants so we can provide support going forward

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in IT or a related field.
SAP certification is helpful but not required.
5+ years of progressive experience to include:
- Configuring, testing and supporting SAP MM, as well as assisting SAP business users on standard functionality and business processes and testing of new functionality.
- Configuring, testing and supporting Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration, Ariba Procure to Pay and Ariba Spend Analysis.
Experience supporting additional business applications for Ariba a plus
Business knowledge should include all phases of system development, from analysis though project planning, through implementation and support
Working knowledge of databases, applications and data integration interfaces
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated proficiency in performing root cause analysis
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience creating or modifying training documentation and providing training to end users
Ability to write queries and debug ABAP a plus
ALE/EDI/CIF interface experience required
SAP S/4 HANA experience preferred
Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus, especially Spanish, Portuguese, French, Mandarin, Russian or Polish
