Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. HR Operations Systems Analyst to join our HR Operations team. This role can be located at our Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL (near O’Hare) office.  In this role you will work with required 3rd party vendors and internal teams to analyze, build and test new interfaces to support data transfer to and from various systems. (SuccessFactors HRIS and UKG Payroll) 

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Technically support UKG by maintaining tables with new setups, changes to existing tables.  Tables include locations, departments, cost centers, etc. to ensure data transfers are accurate and General Ledger is supported.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for HR Systems and contribute to the planning and execution of intra-systems  projects. Also contribute to broad team projects by offering expert insights into system capabilities and best practices.
  • Support the various HR Centers Of Excellence teams, including HR, HRIS, Payroll, & Benefits in contributing to the functionality of the systems which include projects and enhancements with the goal of optimizing efficiencies
  • Broad knowledge of HR and payroll product suite; including use of fields, process flows, data architecture and reporting
  • Analyze, design, build and test new processes including time and attendance, HR and benefit interfaces and data warehousing
  • Coordinate the collection of system requirements, location specific rules, and integration specifications
  • Drive the roll out of new tools and processes including standard operating procedures, workflow diagrams and training
  • Drive testing activity in all new or changed integrations
  • Drive process optimization, benchmarking and ongoing operational metrics
  • Analyze, design, build, and test with technology partner to automate the scheduling or running of processes, queries, mass load, test runs, etc.  Partner on existing and new processes impacting Benefits, HR, HRIS, departments.
  • Direct the performance and execution of the HR Operations team based on projects or process improvement changes or clarification ensuring that customer services are provided at the highest level and that services are delivered in an accurate and cost-competitive, quality manner.
  • Review the performance of core processes based on request or self-initiated. Lead continuous improvement efforts to ensure process and functional excellence. 
  • Support the broader team by advising on appropriate existing system reports, or creating custom built reports depending on the need or requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with HR, Payroll, IT, HRIS, Benefits and other business teams to maintain communication and teamwork.  Serve as the liaison to Benefits, HR, HRIS, HRIT, partner on new implementations.
  • Serve as subject matter expert to systems users (HR and business), acting as the initial point of contact and team advisor for issues that cannot be resolved independently.
  • Maintain and apply leading practice in SuccessFactors Role Based Permissions – simple, but scalable 
     

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human resources, information systems or a related field 
  • 7+ years of prior experience working with HR systems and integrations 
  • 2+ years of experience in a related HR, HRIS, Payroll role 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate across departments and with external vendors/partners
  • Ability to define problems, present and implement solution recommendations
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times. 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective change management skills
  • SuccessFactors integration experience with Integration Center and CPI, strongly preferred 
  • Experience with developing and maintaining SuccessFactors Role Based Permissions, strongly preferred
