Job Overview

We have a newly created opportunity for a Sr. Technical Business Analyst – UKG/HCM to join our global IT team. This role is working onsite and can be based out our headquarters office in Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL (near O’Hare). In this role you will have responsibility for technical support, technical implementation and technical improvements to our HR, Payroll, and timekeeping systems. You will partner closely with our HRIS, HR operations and payroll teams. 

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Manage Workforce Management and Workforce Central applications for all users globally. Maintain and administer the applications always ensuring their availability for all regions and all users.
  • Be the system administrator for UKG Workforce Management and Workforce Central applications.
  • Responsible for day-to-day operations from Person Import, Persona Assignment (including profiles, accruals, attendance, balances etc.), Time and Attendance, Labor Posting (Activities), Mobile App, Device Management, and Reports.  
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating Accrual and Attendance Policies. Be able to create and update policies per business requirements from time to time and work with business to get the enhancements validated. Develop and maintain documentation for all such requests.
  • Responsible for maintaining devices globally and ensuring zero downtime (other than network outages). Coordinating with sites to ensure proper functioning of devices. Coordinating with UKG for depot exchange and allied requests.
  • Help design and configure enhancement requests within all modules of WFM. Document and review design with the team before implementing. Prepare test data, collaborate with business and coordinate successful testing.
  • Coordinate with business to gather and validate complete requirements, document them and request sign off. Ensure the documentation is always complete including technical design document and test plans.
  • Responsible for updating and creating integrations. Be able to configure all building blocks for the application.
  • Manage and enhance the integrations in/out of Success Factors. Support technical issues arising from integration between EC and ECC. Have detailed understanding of underlying processes for import of data from Success Factors to UKG PRO and to Workforce Management.
  • Within the Information Technology organization, support all Kronos and HR applications. This includes but is not limited to providing technical support for system configuration; troubleshooting issues through resolution; creating and modifying queries and reports; creating, modifying and supporting interfaces; test fixes, minor releases and patches.
  • Meet regularly with HR leadership and HR business groups such as payroll, HR operations, HRIS, etc. to build strong partnerships and ensure alignment. Work directly with business partners to define, scope and implement solutions in alignment with business initiatives.
  • Understand business requirements for various Time keeping, Pay Policies, SuccessFactors and Integration functions. Based on business requirements ensure day-to-day operations are supported and minimize risks to fulfill business requirements, audit guidelines and global support requirements.
  • Work directly with AMS/UKG staff to ensure project/support deliveries. Work directly with vendor partnerships to augment staff capabilities. 
  • Serve as project manager when needed for technical deployments or upgrades. Manage budgetary spend for projects when needed. 
     

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information science or a related field or equivalent work experience 
  • 5+ years of technical experience working with Kronos timekeeping/scheduling/attendance/accrual business processes.
  • 2+ years of technical experience with SuccessFactors 
  • 2+ years of technical experience working with SAP HCM modules
  • Ability to establish, build and maintain relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization including the ability to explain technical processes and concepts to non-technical user groups
  • Demonstrated proficiency in performing root cause analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Working knowledge of databases, applications and data integration interfaces
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually 
  • Effective presentation skills and change management skills
  • Project experience
