Job Overview

The Talent Acquisition Manager is an integral team member of the broader HR team.  The Talent Acquisition Manager will report to the Director, Talent Acquisition and together they will play an important role in building the TA function and strategy for Komatsu.  The TA Manager will partner and coach recruiters and HR business partners to ensure the recruiting and hiring process runs smoothly to provide a positive experience for the candidate, hiring manager and recruiter.  The TA Manager will leverage data and metrics to make strategic decisions for Komatsu. 

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and ensure recruiters and HRBPs are following recruiting standard operating procedures.
  • Review and evaluate current recruiting and hiring process and recommend changes to streamline and enhance.
  • Assess candidate and customer satisfaction and develop plans to continuously monitor and improve the experience.
  • Actively coach and develop HRBPs and Recruiters.
  • Engage with Business Leaders & HR Leaders to understand business strategy, internal talent landscape, TA demand and forecasting.
  • Measure and report key TA organization and individual performance metrics.
  • Leverage data to define success metrics, measure productivity, communicate to internal customers and inform strategic decision making.
  • Build relationships and partner with colleges/universities, tech schools and other local organizations.
  • Ensure that recruiting and employment practices are compliant with federal, state and local laws.
  • Manage external partnerships with recruitment process outsourced partners and additional third-party suppliers.
  • Participate in broader team projects and initiatives to enhance recruiting at Komatsu.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or University degree in Human Resource or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • Strong customer orientation focus to ensure an excellent candidate experience and hiring manager experience.
  • Strong Stakeholder management and executive presence with the ability to partner and develop relationships with senior level leadership.
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and influence a team and stakeholder group towards a shared goal.
