Job Overview

We are seeking an IT Intern to join our SharePoint team! The intern in this role will be responsible for a range of support activities including maintenance of our SharePoint environment, using your current programming knowledge with Komatsu's practices and tools, such as SharePoint Designer, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Nintex Workflow to assist senior staff build custom applications, and working as part of the team to support existing and new SharePoint sites.


What do our IT Interns do?  IT internships at Komatsu offer students the opportunity to work in one or more of our functional IT areas:

  • Application development (VB.net, C#, SQL, Sterling, SharePoint, PowerApps, Flow, React, Appian (or other low-code platforms), RPA technologies, AI Tools)

  • Business Analyst/IT Project Management

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, MIS, IT, or a related field; Sophomore and Junior level standing strongly encouraged

  • Previous work or classroom experience in one or more of the following areas: Office 365, SharePoint, SQL, C#,ASP.NET, VB.NET, Microsoft Visual Studio.NET, IT project management and/or business analysis

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of team

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to think critically and troubleshoot issues when they arise

  • A passion for technology and a drive to succeed

Additional Information

This position is located onsite at our newly built headquarters in Milwaukee, WI. This position is currently not eligible for relocation and/ or remote work.
