How you will help us create value together:

As a Low Code Development Intern, you will be responsible for a range of support activities for the Advanced Analytics & Architecture team. Internship activities will include developing new applications and maintaining/enhancing existing low code platform solutions.

This position will be based onsite at our South Harbor location in Milwaukee’s Harbor District! The target start date for this role is Summer 2023 and has potential to be extended into the Fall 2023 school semester. We offer full-time hours during the summer and flexible part-time hours during the academic year.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with business analysts and subject matter experts to translate business requirements into executable DevOps features, stories, tasks
  • Full stack development of low code solutions, e.g. PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerBI, UIPath, and ServiceNow
  • Full stack development may include developing 3FL & 4GL applications in Azure and/or leveraging existing services
  • Testing and debugging applications to ensure they function proper relative to requirements
  • Documenting and maintaining application code and design.

Qualifications we look for

Basic Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or similar, from an accredited college or university. Other degrees with a focus on business productivity will also be considered.
  • Junior, Senior, or master’s level student in good academic standing preferred
  • Work independently as well as part of a team towards a goal
  • Excellent organization and personal time management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess effective problem solving and critical thinking skills; ability to be creative and resourceful when needed
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous classroom and/or work experience in one or more of the following areas: Microsoft Power Platform, ServiceNow AppEngine, UI Path, Azure
  • Previous classroom and/or work experience in one or more of the following areas: low code AI platforms, e.g. Microsoft Power Platform AI Builder, Azure Cognitive Services, Chatbots (e.g. Amazon Alexa skills development), etc.
  • Interest in or aptitude to learn about careers in the heavy equipment industry
  • Interest in or aptitude to learn platforms and technologies
