Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an HRIS Coordinator to join our team in Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL. The HRIS Coordinator provides technical and functional support for Komatsu’s HR systems, ensuring data integrity, maintaining system modules, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize HR processes. Reporting to a manager, this role also supports HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) in achieving organizational objectives.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Data Management: Accurately enter, maintain, and process learning and development data, including training schedules, course assignments, and completions. Provide administrative support for technical training and skills groups.
- End-User Support: Serve as the first point of contact for HRIS inquiries, troubleshooting user issues, resolving system errors, and guiding employees on effective system use.
- System Enhancements: Partner with the HRIS Manager to test, implement, and validate system updates, integrations, and new deployments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR and other departments to resolve user requests and deliver comprehensive HRIS support.
- Problem Solving: Take initiative in researching and analyzing issues, gathering necessary information to resolve complex HRIS requests efficiently.
- Reporting: Create, generate, and maintain standard and ad hoc reports to meet business and compliance needs.
- Data Provisioning: Provide requested data and insights from HRIS and related systems in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ticket Management: Monitor and manage the HRIS ticketing system, ensuring prompt resolution of support tickets.
- Documentation & Training: Develop, update, and maintain end-user documentation, guides, and training materials to support system utilization.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience providing HRIS or data management support, including maintaining data accuracy, assisting users, and supporting system enhancements.
- Able to learn new systems quickly and proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with HRIS platforms and data analysis tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive, positive approach to supporting colleagues and achieving shared goals.
Additional Information
Hiring Range
At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $52,600-$65,800. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
