Job Overview
The HRIS team at Komatsu is responsible for the ongoing support, maintenance, and deployment of HR systems within Komatsu's application portfolio. With SuccessFactors as our primary HCM system, team members have a primary focus within the various SuccessFactors modules and ensuring the modules are configured appropriately and the integrity of data flowing to downstream internal and 3rd party systems. The HRIS team provides support to our various HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) along with other teams throughout Komatsu for a cross-functional team approach to achieve Komatsu's organizational goals.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Where applicable: Oversee and review workflow transactions with focus on data integrity; Work closely with HR, HR Operations, and Payroll to ensure accurate transactions are fully approved before cutoff for payroll processing; Responsible for large scale data imports
- Module(s) of responsibility issue resolution as necessary
- Creates and delivers training for end-users (documentation/training materials)
- Works with various HR functions and Business Partners to identify new enhancements, updates, or maintenance opportunities; aligning activities across modules, companies, functions, etc. to ensure consistent approach to system performance and HR processes
- Performs basic to intermediate SuccessFactors configuration requests
- Perform foundational object and picklist changes
- Gathers system requirements, design, coordination, report development/customization, testing and ongoing support to HR reporting and system enhancements
- Designs, updates, and execute reports for company-wide users including reports for audits
- Maintains business process documentation
- Assists and supports the integration activities and the identification and solving of risks and issues
- Maintain data integrity and compliance requirements
- Works closely with other functions (HR Operations, COEs, Legal and Finance)
Qualifications/Requirements
- 3 or more years of HRIS application support required (SuccessFactors preferable); Deep system knowledge to support overall system performance, including configuration, permissions, and recommendations to process and system efficiencies.
- Undergraduate degree, preferably with a focus in Computer Science, Business or Human Resources or related job experience
- Experience providing troubleshooting, analysis and recommendations on HR technology issues
- Knowledge of integrations from a HRIS to 3rd party vendor systems
- Strong analytical and communication skills and experience with interacting with multiple levels of an organization; can translate technical information to simple language
- Intermediate/advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Broad knowledge of HR business processes and supporting systems and services
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Global teams experience helpful
