This is an onsite-hybrid job opportunity located in Milwaukee, WI
The Cloud Integration Engineer works closely with the development and operations teams to design, implement, and manage the infrastructure and processes that support our software development lifecycle.
Key Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for various workloads including Snowflake, Databricks, Kubernetes, and Azure services.
• Automate Databricks cluster provisioning with secure identity integrations and DevOps best practices.
• Implement and troubleshoot Confluent Cloud (Kafka) integrations, including connector deployments and schema management.
• Manage and support Snowflake databases, SQL data pipelines, and InfluxDB workloads.
• Architect and optimize AKS Kubernetes clusters, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
• Design and manage application delivery pipelines using Azure Front Door, Application Gateway, and NGINX Ingress Controllers.
• Lead the setup and management of Azure API Management services for secure API exposure and traffic control.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using ARM templates and Bicep for automated provisioning of Azure resources.
• Build and maintain Grafana dashboards for monitoring and observability.
• Implement disaster recovery strategies for Azure environments.
• Conduct security posture assessments using Wiz and manage secret handling with Azure Key Vault.
• Configure Azure Update Management for automated patching and implement Azure Backup policies.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for secure access control.
• Provide immediate response to customer Zendesk tickets and troubleshoot operational issues across various platforms.
• Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines with SAST and DAST scanning tools and maintain internal documentation using Confluence.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Masters in Computer Science or IT, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent
- 7+ years of progressive development experience with data systems, analytics, and big data. Strong preference for experience with big data applications involving complex equipment and mining.
- Experience developing applications for processing large volumes of noisy, real-world time-series sensor data from unreliable sources is required.
- Strong experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in automating Databricks cluster provisioning.
- Expertise in Confluent Cloud (Kafka) integrations.
- Experience in managing Snowflake databases, SQL data pipelines, and InfluxDB workloads.
- Proficiency in architecting and optimizing AKS Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience in designing application delivery pipelines using Azure Front Door and Application Gateway.
- Strong knowledge of Azure API Management services.
- Proficiency in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using ARM templates and Bicep.
- Expertise in building and maintaining Grafana dashboards.
- Experience in implementing disaster recovery strategies for Azure environments.
- Proficiency in conducting security posture assessments using Wiz.
