Job Purpose

The HR Coordinator – Recruitment role is responsible for coordinating and delivering end to end recruitment activities across the business while providing efficient HR administration support. This role ensures positive candidate experience, timely hiring outcomes and accurate HR processes enabling other HR resources to focus on strategic and advisory activities.

Travel Requirements

Up to 10%.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Recruitment and Talent Coordination

  • Manage the entire recruitment process from requisition approval to offer acceptance.
  • Create, publish, and oversee job advertisements on appropriate platforms.
  • Review applications, conduct initial candidate interviews, and prepare shortlist recommendations.
  • Organise interviews, assessments, and stakeholder communications with professionalism and promptness.
  • Prepare offer letters and assist with pre-employment checks in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain precise recruitment records and track candidate outcomes.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to provide clear updates and guidance throughout the hiring process.

Onboarding and Induction Support

  • Facilitate onboarding activities to ensure a seamless transition from candidate to employee.
  • Prepare employment documents and assist with system setup before the start date.
  • Coordinate with managers and internal teams to deliver a positive experience for new employees.

HR Administration and Coordination

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Support HR compliance efforts, including record management and audit preparedness.
  • Assist with general HR administrative tasks as needed.
  • Address routine employee and manager inquiries, escalating issues appropriately.

Continuous Improvement and Compliance

  • Identify opportunities to enhance recruitment and HR coordination processes.
  • Ensure all recruitment and HR activities adhere to applicable laws, policies, and internal procedures.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as required.

Required Skills

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or Business Admin or willingness to undertake.
  • Experience in recruitment coordination and/or HR Generalist.
  • Understanding of employment legislation.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes concurrently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office and HRIS preferably Success Factors.
  • Works collaboratively with stakeholders and supports a positive candidate and employee experience.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity and discretion at all times.
