Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to support electric drive wheel loaders and drills across multiple open pit mine sites in the Southwest. This job requires a strong mechanical and electrical skillset to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy equipment. In this role you'll be in the field Monday - Saturday, with overtime often available.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Maintenance, repair, service, and inspection of Komatsu Electric Wheel Loaders and Drills
- Able to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Adjust, repair or replace all defective equipment parts, components or systems serviced at customer sites

Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues on heavy equipmentPerform troubleshooting on:
- 24V and high-voltage systems (up to ~600–700 volts)
- Hydraulic systems (leak repair, pressure testing, pump setup)

Conduct field repairs at open pit mine sites
Qualifications/Requirements
- 3+ years of mining or construction equipment related experience
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics and manuals.
- Must have a demonstrated ability to efficiently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems common to mining and/or construction equipment
- Hold a strong standard for safety and quality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with:
- Drills
- Electric wheel loaders (e.g., 1150–2350 series)
- Equipment formerly branded as LeTourneau
