Job Overview
Key Job Responsibilities
- Cultivate a collaborative Zero Harm culture by maintaining a safe workplace, identifying hazards, and promoting continuous improvement in environmental, health, and safety performance.
- Develop and execute inventory planning strategies that maximize customer service, inventory availability, and working capital performance by balancing service requirements with inventory investment across SAP, CDK, and regional distribution operations.
- Develop, execute, and continuously optimize enterprise inventory planning strategies utilizing SAP S/4HANA, CDK, CTS, Komtrax, Planning Model, and the Supply Chain Control Tower.
- Leverage historical demand, fleet population, customer projects, equipment utilization, lead times, and predictive analytics to develop inventory stocking strategies that improve inventory health, fill rate, and operational performance.
- Support enterprise planning initiatives including: Inventory Planning, Component Exchange Program (CEP), Major Component Planning, Used Equipment, Strategic Projects
- Utilize advanced analytics, Power BI, Palantir, and the Supply Chain Control Tower to identify inventory risks, optimize planning decisions, improve reporting visibility, and drive continuous improvement initiatives supporting enterprise planning objectives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert supporting inventory planning within SAP S/4HANA, CDK, CTS, Planning Model, and the Supply Chain Control Tower.
- Support standardization of enterprise planning processes, planning governance, master data integrity, and inventory planning methodologies across Komatsu North America.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Able to work onsite in Mesa, AZ
- Four-year degree in Business Administration, Materials Management, Inventory Control, or Purchasing is preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain planning, materials management, manufacturing, distribution, or enterprise planning environments with demonstrated experience utilizing ERP planning systems, analytics platforms, and business intelligence tools.
- Strong analytical skills, along with excellent interpersonal communication and organization skills are required
- Proficiency in MS Office applications is required
- Working knowledge of CDK/SAP and Warehouse Management is preferred
- APICS Certification is a plus
