Job Overview
Build something big! As a Sr. Mechanical Designer at Komatsu Longview Operations, you will support the design our products by working with desing engineering to ensure they meet Komatsu's standards. You will assist in design principals, collaborate with internal teams, and ensure best practices.
Key Job Responsibilities
Design and detail of structures, electrical, machinery or air/hydraulic systems using Solid Edge |
Create ECN documentation within the CenitConnect/SAP software |
Working knowledge of CAD/PDM software, design principles & practices, & manufacturing processes |
Capable of mentoring a CAD Designer I |
Capable of being a performance leader for a CAD Designer I & conducting formal new employee training |
Qualifications/Requirements
At least 5 years experience |
SOLID EDGE, CENIT, SAP experience |
Can work independently, and has knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety in product design, serviceability and developed more advanced CAD skills, can check safety and manufacturability |
Capable of presenting and defending designs to Management, Engineers, and others, as needed. |

Hiring Range
