Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Motor Winder I to join our manufacturing team at the Longview, Texas facility. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the precise installation of coils into AC, DC, and SR stator frames, ensuring each component meets strict quality standards. Your expertise in making lead connections and conducting thorough voltage testing on stator windings will contribute directly to the reliability and efficiency of our products. As a Motor Winder I, you will play a critical role in our manufacturing process by applying your technical skills and attention to detail to produce high-quality electrical motor components. Your commitment to workplace safety and adherence to procedures will ensure a secure and productive environment for yourself and your coworkers.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Work safe and be an advocate for safety.

• Able to follow instructions and repeat basic procedures of the motor winder position.

• Cleans and maintains equipment, tooling, and work area.

• Properly insulate frames as required during the winding process.

•  Make accurate connections using solder and brazing processes.

• Able to test stator windings at high voltage.

• Document all information needed for traceability

Qualifications/Requirements

• 2 years of experience or equivalent knowledge of motor/stator winding duties.

• Ability to perform basic math functions. (Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.)

• Ability to operate a forklift, overhead crane, and other equipment as needed.

• Ability to work independently, holding close tolerances, minimizing scrap all within standard routing hours.

• Strong blue-print reading skills.

• Knowledge of various hand tools and their uses.

• Must successfully pass background check, pre-employment physical drug screening.

• Must be able to work overtime, and weekends as required.
