Key Job Responsibilities
- Consistently adhere to all safety protocols and serve as a proactive advocate for a safe working environment, promoting best practices among peers.
- Demonstrate the ability to carefully follow detailed instructions and proficiently repeat fundamental motor winding procedures to maintain product consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment, tools, and work areas to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.
- Effectively insulate motor frames during the winding process to meet technical specifications and prevent electrical faults.
- Conduct precise high-voltage testing on stator windings, documenting results accurately for product traceability and quality assurance.
- Record all pertinent information and maintain thorough documentation to ensure full traceability and support product lifecycle management.
- Apply hands-on brazing techniques to join copper windings and electrical connections, emphasizing material preparation, precise heat control, and rigorous inspection to ensure durable and reliable joints compatible with high-performance motor standards.
- Select appropriate filler materials and execute brazing processes to produce uniform, defect-free joints while safeguarding insulation and adjacent components from damage.
- Review and interpret basic work instructions or engineering drawings, verifying workmanship quality through visual inspections and continuity testing, ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality control and maintenance personnel to identify opportunities for process improvements and troubleshooting issues related to winding and electrical connections.
Qualifications/Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience or demonstrated equivalent proficiency in motor or stator winding tasks is required.
- Competency in fundamental mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) to calculate measurements, tolerances, and test values.
- Possess operational skills for equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes, ensuring material handling efficiency and workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining stringent tolerances and minimizing material waste within defined standard work hours.
- Strong aptitude in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to accurately execute winding processes and electrical connections.
- Familiarity with various hand tools and specialized equipment used in motor winding and electrical assembly.
- Proficient in soldering and brazing techniques to make accurate and durable electrical connections.
- Successful completion of a background check, pre-employment physical examination, and drug screening is mandatory.
- Willingness and availability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, as operational needs dictate.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
