Key Job Responsibilities
As a Material Handler/Coordinator II, your key responsibilities will include:
- Promoting and adhering to safety standards to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Thoroughly cleaning and maintaining equipment, tools, and work areas to uphold operational efficiency and safety compliance.
- Performing a range of material handling duties, both manual and clerical, to supply assembly lines with necessary parts and supplies, facilitating uninterrupted production processes.
- Efficiently unpacking and sorting materials, placing them in designated storage or production areas according to established protocols.
- Returning surplus or defective materials back to the warehouse accurately, and managing proper disposal, recycling, or rejection of materials when applicable.
- Collaborating with warehouse and production teams to accurately track inventory levels and report any discrepancies.
- Assisting in inventory audits and identifying opportunities to optimize material flow and storage solutions.
Qualifications/Requirements
To succeed as a Material Handler/Coordinator II, candidates should meet the following qualifications and requirements:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, demonstrating foundational educational competencies.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, physical, and background check to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
