Key Job Responsibilities

  • Uphold and promote a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all safety policies and procedures to maintain a risk-free work environment.
  • Prepare the workstation by thoroughly reviewing assembly instructions, blueprints, specifications, and parts lists to ensure accurate completion of assigned tasks.
  • Assemble electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components by interpreting layouts, templates, and measurements to ensure parts and subassemblies fit correctly and function as designed.
  • Perform routine assembly assignments under close supervision, supporting seasoned team members while progressively learning advanced assembly techniques.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on assembly equipment, following manufacturer guidelines to prevent downtime; identify and report malfunctions timely to maintenance personnel.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area by following all operational procedures, cleaning protocols, and safety regulations.
  • Complete all necessary documentation related to production activities and quality control to support traceability and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify opportunities for process improvement and quality enhancement.
  • Adapt flexibly to variable workloads including potential overtime and weekend assignments as required to meet production deadlines.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Possess basic mathematical skills and the capability to accurately use tape measures and other measuring tools to support precise assembly work.
  • Demonstrate fundamental knowledge of hand tools, ensuring the selection and use of appropriate tools for each task with an emphasis on safety.
  • Have moderate experience with blueprint reading, enabling comprehension of assembly instructions and specifications for component integration.
  • Follow detailed instructions reliably and execute repetitive procedures consistently to produce high-quality assemblies.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail combined with effective problem-solving abilities to address assembly challenges and maintain product standards.
  • Work collaboratively within diverse teams, communicating effectively to contribute to a supportive and productive workplace environment.
  • Meet medium physical demands of the role, including occasional lifting of items weighing 21-50 pounds, frequent lifting of 11-25 pounds, and constant handling of lighter components; able to stand for over two-thirds of the work shift.
  • Successfully complete required pre-employment screenings including background check, physical examination, and drug testing as part of our commitment to safety and compliance.
  • Be willing and able to work additional hours including overtime and weekend shifts when necessary to support production goals.
