Key Job Responsibilities

  • Champion safety initiatives by consistently following all safety protocols and promoting a culture of risk awareness and prevention within the workplace.
  • Accurately prepare for assembly tasks by thoroughly reviewing technical assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; efficiently gather required parts, tools, and materials to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Assemble various electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components, ensuring precision by using templates, measuring devices, and adherence to fitment requirements; securely fasten parts and subassemblies to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Perform daily tasks under supervision, assisting experienced assembly technicians, while progressively building expertise and confidence in routine and specialized assembly operations.
  • Maintain operational equipment by conducting scheduled preventive maintenance, performing troubleshooting on minor malfunctions, and coordinating with maintenance personnel for repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure a clean and orderly workspace in compliance with all procedural, regulatory, and internal company guidelines to foster efficiency and safety.
  • Accurately document production and quality metrics by completing required forms and reports, contributing to continuous improvement efforts and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proficiency in basic mathematics and ability to accurately use measuring tools such as tape measures to interpret dimensions.
  • Familiarity with a variety of hand tools and demonstrated ability to select and utilize the appropriate tools safely and effectively for specific assembly tasks.
  • Skill in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings at a moderate level, enabling accurate construction and assembly of components.
  • Capability to follow detailed instructions and perform consistent, repeatable actions aligned with established assembly procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities to identify and address assembly issues promptly.
  • Effective collaboration skills to contribute positively within team-oriented environments, facilitating productive communication and cooperation.
  • Physical fitness aligned with job demands, including frequent lifting (11-25 lbs), occasional heavier lifting (21-50 lbs), and sustained standing activities exceeding two-thirds of the work shift.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screening processes encompassing background checks, physical examinations, and comprehensive substance testing including hair follicle analysis.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours including overtime, weekends, and willingness to work the 2nd shift as operational needs require.
