Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Executive Assistant to provide high-level support for the SVP, Surface Loading Business Unit Leader and his leadership team based in Longview, Texas. Our Surface Loading Business Unit is renowned for producing the world's largest front-end loader and Komatsu's cutting-edge shovels. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations, fostering effective communication, and maintaining a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Calendar Management: Efficiently manage the executive's schedule, coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements to optimize their time.
2. Communication: Serve as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating exceptional communication skills. Facilitate clear and concise communication within the leadership team.
3. Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating various projects and initiatives within the Loading Tools Business Unit, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
4. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and edit reports, presentations, and other documents, ensuring accuracy and professionalism. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
5. Travel Arrangements: Organize complex domestic and international travel itineraries, managing logistics and accommodations effectively.
6. Meeting Coordination: Schedule, prepare agendas, and coordinate logistics for leadership team meetings, ensuring smooth proceedings and follow-up actions.
7. Problem-Solving: Anticipate and proactively address challenges, demonstrating resourcefulness and the ability to find solutions quickly.
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as an executive assistant or in a similar role.
2. Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
3. Strong sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
6. Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
7. Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
8. Previous experience in supporting leadership teams.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant administrative or executive support experience.
