Job Overview
Komatsu is currently searching for an Electrical Engineer for our Longview, Texas location. Komatsu offers an excellent benefit package, competitive pay and bonus/merit potential.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Familiar with LabVIEW graphical programming language.
- Familiar with Control Area Networks (CAN)
- Research and specify components
- Perform and generate software functional tests
- Documents tests for engineering
- Provides technical support for manufacturing
- Performs product development activities including designs, interpretations and implementation of customer specifications and documentation requirements.
- Provides existing product line support in design activities and/or modification of hardware in production
- Conducts engineering studies and assign work to drafters
- Works directly with engineers in other disciplines to augment production size and value
- Strong organizational and multi tasking skills in order to manage multiple projects
- Detail oriented
- Familiarity with SAP
- Possess a sense of urgency and passion for success
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering
LabView ( or other programming language)
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
